eShakti Review

Disclaimer: I received a free dress for my partnership with  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I started my morning with a super windy 6 miler with Carly. I was also trying to be a ninja since I was dressed in all black, but this was the best I could come up with. The actual poses are even worse.

The second half of our run was a little slower because we were running into the wind, but overall we have been making some pretty awesome times this week!

IMG_4403-1.JPGI just finished up my habitual breakfast of a smoothie and scrambled eggs with mushrooms and now am taking the time to share with you a review of the clothing company eShakti.

eShakti is the only online women’s apparel site offering sizes 0-36W as well as customizations.  What drew my attention to this company was the option to customize the piece of clothing that I ordered.  I have trouble finding dresses sometimes because I have short legs and they often appear too long on me. They not only offer length options, but also sleeve and necklines as well. The possibilities are endless!

I chose a floral embellished V-neck poplin dress (please forgive the bathroom shot of it) and chose to shorten the length of the dress so that it didn’t cut my legs off at an unflattering place.  The site is very easy to use and offers descriptive sizing charts so that you can make sure you order an appropriate size.

IMG_4370.JPGIt takes a little longer to receive items from eShakti because the pieces are made to order, but while they state that it will take up to 14 business days, I actually received mine in 10 days total.  It came the day that we headed to NC, so I took it with me to wear at the housewarming party that was on Saturday night.  I received many compliments from family and people at the party, so I’d say it was a hit!  My only complaint was that the top half was a little loose, but I’m used to having trouble filling out tops in dresses. I did not wear the white cami I have on in the picture, but just wore a slightly padded bra and it was fine.

What I loved most about this dress is that it had POCKETS.  I have never had a dress with pockets and they were perfect for carrying my phone around. If you don’t have a dress with pockets, you need to get one immediately. There was a custom option to remove the pockets, but that’s just crazy. The fabric was pretty lightweight as well, so it had the look of an elegant dress, but would be perfectly comfortable during the day as well.

If you haven’t already, check out eSkakti here.  For first time customers, there is a $25 gift coupon when you register and your first customization is free. As an added bonus, I have an exclusive discount code to offer you! Enter erinsinsidejob as a promotional code at checkout and receive an extra 10% off your order. Offer is valid from 10/23-11/23, can be used any number of times during those dates, used with other promotions unless otherwise specified, but can not be used with sale items. Happy shopping!

Question of the day: Have you ever gotten custom clothes? What are your thoughts?

Such a cute dress, you look very pretty. V neck is always nice, elongating the neck line. What color shoes were you wearing? I like the pretty detail on the skirt. Two thumbs up to the dress!
