Hello and happy Friday from sunny California!
I’m working on eating, sleeping, and catching up with family, so I’m going to cut to the chase today and jump right into the five things I’m loving this week. I’ll try and stay on track next week, but travel and the sun may cause me to miss a day or two. Hope you all have a GREAT weekend and wonderful weather!
I mentioned this company a couple weeks ago and when I saw they were having a sale the other day on Instagram, I bit the bullet and bought my two favorite shirts. I’ve been thinking about buying them for awhile now and I still really wanted them, so I figured it was a worthwhile purchase. But seriously though, how amazing are these?
I’ve been on a bit of a cereal kick lately. We randomly got a box of Honeycomb awhile ago and I tore through it in no time. I’ve been craving it again, so I picked up another one. Then the other day General Mills had a marketing team outside on my way to work and gave me a bag of two full sized boxes of cereal and a $5 gift card. Nice work guys.
I have a thing about putting extra honey on honey-flavored cereals. One of my all time favorites is Honey Nut Cheerios with honey on top.
I signed up with Paribus months ago and honestly forgot about it until this week. It scans your email for purchase receipts from online shopping and then automatically checks to see if the items you bought go down in price. If they do, Paribus contacts the company and requests the price difference back as a refund. This was the first time a refund was triggered, but it was nice to see that I was getting almost $9 back without having to do any work!
I also try to limit my online shopping, so if you do more of it then you’ll probably have a higher likelihood of scoring a refund!
I also mentioned Ink and Elm in a previous post, and finally ended up with some of their vinyl backdrops earlier this week. I wanted different background options for pictures, and I love anything wooden. There were so many to choose from, but I settled on a clean white one and one with a variety of wood shades. I love them and they easily roll up in case I need to transport them anywhere.
I mentioned in yesterday’s post that we get some of our groceries delivered. Before, I was driving out to Costco, shopping, then driving back into the city which ate up at least an hour or more of my day. Since we do live in a city, there are many people without cars and many different grocery delivery services.
I still get day to day groceries around home, but for the larger things (like 90 eggs), I let them come to me. If you want all your groceries delivered, there are a multitude of different store options to choose from. There is a delivery charge and tip which brings the total up some, but the convenience can’t be beat. Also, you don’t have to be a Costco member to use this service. We ended up cancelling ours because it’s highly unlikely that I’m going to want to go out there and shop in the madness again!
