Five Things Friday #163

Happy Friday!

This week has been busy but fun working on some new projects and being able to put my new camera to use. Sidenote: at what point does it stop being new? I got it in July.

This will be the first weekend in two weekends that I’m not traveling, so it’s safe to say you will likely find me on the couch for a large portion of it. I’m a little glad I stopped doing weekend updates every Monday because I would stress myself out when I had nothing planned. We still have to finish Stranger Things and hopefully I can make time to read, but that’s about it. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and here are some of the things I’m loving from this week.

1. Honey Mama’s Ginger Cardamom Chocolate

You all know that Honey Mama’s is my favorite chocolate; it’s so unique and delicious and whenever I have it in my house it’s gone almost instantaneously. As of November 1st, they released a new flavor — ginger cardamom – and I wanted to share it with you. I am not a HUGE fan of cardamom, so this isn’t one I would likely buy over some of my other favorites (coffee, spicy, and Dutch), but for those of you who like it, this is totally for you.

Note: through 11/30 you can get 10% off your entire online order by using the code GINGER9.

2. Turmeric Teas Dawn

First of all, what’s not to love about this branding? Second of all, this Dawn flavor is perfect for fall.

I was worried when I got this in my monthly Sips By box that it would be mainly turmeric-focused since that it the name of the brand, however, it’s basically a black chai tea blend with some turmeric added. I love that the chai flavors are not unbalanced and cardamom-heavy, which you know from above I’m not too fond of.

Note: remember by using the code FORERIN you can get 50% off your first order with Sips By.

3. Ray Ban Aviator Sunglasses

These have been my favorite sunglasses since I was in college, but when I got Pinky she decided that she wanted to chew them beyond repair. I still kept them in hopes that maybe one day I would repair them, but they’re still sitting in my linen closet.

I got these as a gift from my friend and I’m SO EXCITED. Now to just keep them away from Donut.

4. Kodiak Cakes Muffin in a Minute

I know I shared about the minute pancakes from Kodiak Cakes the other week, but then I realized that I also was given samples of their muffins which come in way more exciting flavors. The other night Neil and I ate the pumpkin and dark chocolate, leaving this DOUBLE dark chocolate to enjoy. They’re super quick, made with whole grains, and there’s chocolate. What more could you want?

5. Sir Kensington’s Spicy Brown Mustard

What makes me love this spicy brown mustard this week is the fact that I got one in a squeeze bottle. My previous Sir Kensington’s was in a glass jar which made me feel fancy, but wasn’t quite as practical. I didn’t even know they made squeeze bottles until I got this one in the mail and my life was changed. I put it on my turkey sandwich that I’ve been having every day and it’s just not the same without it.

That’s it for this week folks — see you next week!

Okay, definitely finish Stranger Things. SO GOOD. Also, weekends with zero plans are some of the best. I’ll be running through New Orleans this weekend, which I’m SUPER pumped about, but last weekend was pretty low key for us, so there’s a nice balance. 😉 Also heck yeah to the Kodiak Cake minute muffins!

Wow–all of this is amazing! I’m especially intrigued by that Honey Mama’s bar…I’ve never seen that brand. I’ve been obsessed with dipping roasted brussels sprouts in dijon mustard…so random but so delicious!
