Happy Friday! I feel like I put up our Christmas tree last week so that I could stretch out the holiday season even longer, but it still feels like it’s speeding right along. SLOW DOWN TIME. As you may have seen from Monday’s post, we had our gender reveal and now that we know it’s a boy we have to start thinking about names and all that fun stuff. Boy names are hard guys! We don’t have much planned this weekend which is my favorite, and I may use that time to get ahead of some posts and work so… View Post

This weekend Neil and I found out the gender of the baby! We wanted to know, but also wanted it to be a surprise to us, so I picked up an envelope from the doctor’s office and delivered it directly to my favorite Chicago donut shop — Do-Rite Donuts — for them to customize an order for us. Happy Friday friends! I’m headed back from Michigan today after a short trip to visit my friend Ashley and support a local gym where she teaches (see #5). There’s also a chance that we will find… View Post

By the time I had several half marathons under my belt, I felt my love for running waning. I dreaded going all the way out to where I normally liked… View Post

Before I get into that, however, it’s important to back up and first express my trepidation with having kids and making such a life-changing decision. Having kids was never the issue for me; I always envisioned myself with one or two, but the problem came with the disconnect in where I saw my… View Post
