I’ve lived in Chicago almost four years now and I’ve certainly been to my fair share of fitness classes. I’ve met tons of people in the fitness community through teaching both boutique and corporate fitness, yet I can’t believe that I haven’t written this post yet! Here is my list of the 10 best places to work out in Chicago. Keep in mind that what I like may not be what you like, but I did add in a couple yoga studios at the end because I’ve either been there or they came highly recommended by others in the industry.… View Post

Alright guys, I’ve got part two of my Chicago food guide for you and this one may be more exciting than the healthy eats one. 🙂 There are so many delicious places to eat in this city and I know that I’ve left some things off this list, but these are my my favorites. Neil and I aren’t big on sit-down restaurants, so you won’t really find those on this list. I also need to eat more tacos since that’s a big thing here, yet I don’t have any on the list. Ok, this post is long overdue and apologies for that. It felt like whenever I sat down to write it, it was a daunting monstrosity that was easier to postpone than bang out. You guys. This weekend was the BEST. I’ve talked about it before, but the blogging and social media communities are amazing. You’re able to find people with similar interests and almost pre-screen them before even meeting. After commenting and getting to know people online, it feels like you’ve known each other forever when you actually meet in person. My friends Ashley and Jess came to visit me for a long 4-day weekend. I had met and spent time with both of them before, but this was a legit girls weekend. We weren’t together for an event or a conference, just… View Post
