I’ve been complimented at my ability to get everything out in the open and talk about things that others might want to keep to themselves. It’s not something I was always capable of doing and I’m not good at it in all mediums. For instance, I’ve always been able to better convey things through writing than speaking. I learned this lesson in early recovery, but it’s really applicable for people at any stage in life. This is my experience with it. When I first entered recovery, I had lost just about everything. I love smoothies. I love how easy it is to throw things in a blender and come out with a healthy, filling snack or meal. It’s an easy way for me to get more protein and greens because I’m notoriously bad at eating enough vegetables throughout the day. Smoothies are popular at gyms and even their own stand alone stores.
