Welcome to the end of another week! I did a survey on Instagram asking where to find inexpensive house plants because everywhere I’ve gone is SO expensive. A lot of you said that IKEA has a lot of cheap plants, so Neil and I are on a mission to go there this weekend and scout them out. IKEA is a big trip any day of the week, but it’s at least an hour outside of the city here so it’ll likely be an all day adventure. Even if I don’t find a plant I want, you can always find something… View Post

A few weeks ago I re-injured an old back issue I had from a couple years ago. It was due to rushing through a workout and not being as careful with my form as I should have been. Aaaand we’re back with the first Five Things Friday post of the new year as well as the first in two weeks. That means I have two weeks of things stockpiled to share with you. 🙂 This weekend is pretty light, so I’ll likely be camped out around the house for most of it. Here’s some of my favorites from this week… View Post

You may remember that a little over a year ago I did a food sensitivity test with EverlyWell. It was one of the things that I had wanted to do since I started blogging, and it helped me feel legit as I worked on growing this corner of the internet. The other was to go on a sponsored influencer trip, which also happened last year, so I felt like I had MADE IT. When they contacted me this year… View Post

Last week I spent five days at a place called Modfarm in Michigan City, Indiana. It was a magical five days and I’m more than happy with the outcome of my trip. As you know, I decided I wanted to get away to concentrate on writing my book with little interruptions. I didn’t sign up for a writing camp or workshop, but decided that I wanted to go somewhere alone. Since it was the first time I had done something like this and hadn’t read much about the experiences of others, I want this post to be about my tips… View Post
