Five Things Friday #32
Welcome to Friday! I have a busy morning planned of blogging, dashing to Costco, trying out a new pho place, and then Target. Hopefully by the time I get to Target I will be tired enough that I want to get what I need and head home because I can spend an unreasonable amount of time there and come home with all sorts of things I never planned to buy!
House of Cards is out on Netflix today so Neil and I will be perpetually on the couch throughout the weekend watching it all like good media bingeing adults. I do have a break planned in there for an exercise event in Lincoln Park, so hopefully I won’t sink into the couch and never get up. Anyone else marathoning House of Cards this weekend?
To kick off the weekend, here are my Five Things Friday!
I came across this FREE email signature site the other day and it such an improvement from the one I had previously made for myself. I think it is a lot more visually appealing and eye catching. All you have to do is go to the site and you can personalize it with your social media links (among other selections) and my personal favorite–your last blog post. There are a number of details you can choose–from the shape of your picture to the color scheme. Green all the way.
Definitely a rare life occurrence for me. Maybe if I keep posting about it Hilary Swank will read it and be my friend.
3. Amy’s Organic Soups
I have known about Amy’s soups for awhile but never bought any. I went crazy with soup buying the other day because I wanted some on hand for when it was cold and I didn’t feel like making anything or going outside in the tundra. These soups use basic, whole ingredients that I can understand when I read them and also taste pretty delicious!
My skin started to have issues around the 26 year mark. I had never had issues before and went through an ungodly amount of products trying to find something to clear it up. I finally invested in Rodan + Fields (creators of Proactiv) Unblemish line as it was the only thing that helped my skin be manageable. I had also read about the benefits of using a device like this to wash my face as it does a better job than just using my hands. I saw a Groupon for a Prosonic and got it because I didn’t want to spend $200 on another brand.
I have only had it for a few days, but so far my skin is responding well. The reviews on Amazon aren’t amazing, so let’s see how it goes shall we?
You knew you would see them at least once this week. CA has mini versions of Perfect Bars which is great when I am out and just need a quick snack. I made sure to stock up on some and eat them throughout the day when I was hungry.
- What is one of your favorite things this week?
