Five Things Friday #238
This afternoon Miles and I will begin the trek east to Michigan so that we can spend the weekend camping with my friend Andrea in her RV. The weather is supposed to be nice and cool which will get me even more in the mood for being outside and I can't wait to take Miles out and about in nature. Neil and Donut will be staying home to have a "daddy daughter weekend" (his words, not mine), and then we will be home on Sunday. I'm PUMPED.
The temperatures are cooling off here in Chicago and I'm looking forward to more fall weather and hoping that it lasts longer than it did last year before getting cold. To kick off fall, here are some things that I've been loving so far!
1. Thank You Popcorn
I was recently sent a bunch of flavors of popcorn from Thank You Popcorn and I was amazed at all the unique varieties. I've really only had buttered popcorn and kettle corn and didn't realize you could have so many delicious options right at your fingertips.
We were able to sample Mexican Elotes, Korean BBQ, Birthday Cake, Honey Lavender, and Pumpkin Spice Caramel. There are even more flavors to choose from and both savory and sweet options. They were all delicious!
These would make a great gift and you can see all their flavors on their website. You can even get $2 off by using the code ERINSPOP at checkout. 🙂
2. A New Day Long Sleeved Tops @ Target
I never buy clothes and when I do they're inexpensive and basic. I've always loved getting shirts at Target and when I realized it was time to replace some of my old ones, that's right where I headed.
I bravely left the junior's section behind, which, at 35, is probably a good idea, and found these basic tops from A New Day. Guys -- they're amazing and I now own either 6 or 7. They're soft, stretchy, flattering, and come in a ton of colors. I am STOCKED UP on shirts now for the fall and I'm really happy about it.
There are also tanks by the same company that I bought to wear under things and I'm also loving those.

3. Sally Hansen "Mauve Over" Nail Polish
I met with a friend yesterday and told her that I really liked her nail polish. She told me what it was (I'm always amazed when people actually know the names of their nail polish colors), and when I left, I walked immediately into the Target next door to buy it.
I don't paint my nails very often (aside from my toes which are always painted), but once fall rolls around, I love all the color options. This color is actually a little darker than what it looks like in the bottle, which is what I really love about it. Bonus? Only $2.99.
4. Trader Joe's Hatch Chile Mac & Cheese
You all know that I love TJ's regular mac & cheese and I knew that I should have this one again, but I was never in the mood for it UNTIL THIS WEEK. I was shopping and when I saw it I knew I needed some cheesy goodness with a little bit of spice to it. It did not disappoint and I actually like that this one got a little more burnt around the edges than the plain because that's always my favorite part!
5. Between Two Ferns: The Movie
I've been a fan of Between Two Ferns since the beginning and when I saw there was a new Netflix movie LOADED with uncomfortable celebrity interviews, I knew I had to see it. Neil and I sat down this week to check it out and it was definitely a good, light movie. If you're looking to laugh, check it out, and make sure to stick around for the bloopers during the credits which were my favorite. 🙂
That's all for this week friends! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
