WIAW: Weekday Edition


I posted a lot of my weekend eats already, so here is another boring weekday meal recap.  Most of this will be repetitive (especially breakfast), but I am a creature of habit.  Thanks to Jenn for hosting this linkup! To read more about What I Ate Wednesday or to join in, click here.


Scrambled eggs and mushrooms, chocolate blueberry basil smoothie, BAM.



Snack #1

Daily doppio espresso and a banana.



I have been failing in my meal preps lately, so thankfully Neil has been on a Chinese kick and there is a lot of leftover brown rice (and these awesome containers). I just make double the amount of eggs in the morning and split it between breakfast and lunch.  I also threw in some steamed broccoli leftover from Chinese.  Then I slathered it in Sriracha.


Snack #2

I had one of these AMAZING Kind bars and a fresh peach from the farmer’s market (not pictured).  I have only seen this flavor in a Giant near my work, so to ensure that I would never be without them, I bought the box.  Seriously, buy these.



I had dinner at my friend Tayler’s house. I provided her with a zucchini the size of a small baby and she provided me with sweet potato fries and pizza sloppy joes on gluten free buns.



Tayler also gave me this gluten free, dairy free, everything free cookie that was the perfect end to the evening.
