WIAW: Babysitting Edition

Hello and happy Wednesday!

Pending any unforeseen circumstances, it looks like we will be headed out to Chicago early next week. As much as we have talked about it and planned and given warning to those that we know, it is still hard to swallow now that there is a tangible date. I am going to spend the next few days packing up what we will need for a month or more and listing all of the things we need to take care of in VA while we are physically still here. Sounds like a party!

Let’s kick off this Wednesday by doing what I always do: What I Ate Wednesday! I recapped my meals from yesterday and almost made it through the day with pictures of everything. Normal scrambled eggs and mushrooms. I made my chocolate blueberry basil smoothie minus the basil because now that it is getting colder, I don’t crave the delicious taste of basil as much. Also, my plant is dead.



Snack #1

Not too long after breakfast, I was hungry again so I grabbed a GFB. Probably because of the HIIT workout that morning.



Leftover chicken enchilada soup.



I didn’t take a picture of dinner because I was too busy doing this:


and having deep intellectual conversations with a 3 year old


I had some shepherd’s pie for dinner, so you can imagine what it looks like.

I broke down and bought more cookie dough for cookie waffles, but I gave half the package away so that’s cool right? I just ate two raw because I want to test my fate with the salmonella gods. They were delicious and I have lived to see another day.

    1. I actually bought some the other day but havent felt like putting it in my smoothies. Maybe ill send it along with you haha
