I have wanted to visit Banff National Park in Canada for years. When I found out I was pregnant, Neil and I took a once over on our travel list and tried to see if there was anywhere we wanted to go before the baby was born. We were originally scheduled to go on a cruise to the Bahamas with his parents and brother during the same time, but we ended up having to cancel it due to the fact that every port stop was on the Zika list. We changed our plans to take a winter trip to Banff.… View Post

This weekend Neil and I found out the gender of the baby! We wanted to know, but also wanted it to be a surprise to us, so I picked up an envelope from the doctor’s office and delivered it directly to my favorite Chicago donut shop — Do-Rite Donuts — for them to customize an order for us. August was pretty low key for us because we had our anniversary party in July and our upcoming trip to Greece this month, so most of our time was spent close to home. It’ll be a quick run down this month, but here are some of the highlights! Neil and I went on a quick trip to Cincinnati and I took a lot of the recommendations that you guys sent me and made the most of it! We were only there for about two days, but I was able to fill up my… View Post
